For each order we receive, a formula is used to calculate the estimated shipping emissions. Based on these estimates, a portion of our revenue goes to carbon removal companies that have been vetted by Carbon Direct scientists. Those companies use the money to remove the CO2 emissions caused by our shipments. All additional funds go towards the further development of carbon removal technologies.
